Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Conveyancer to join a well-established Residential Conveyancing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in residential conveyancing who is looking to develop their career within a fast-growing, reputable law firm.

You’ll manage your own capped caseload (yes! a genuinely capped caseload), while also supporting junior team members as needed. As this is a client-facing role, strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service are essential.

Our client

The client is a modern, client-focused property law firm, specialising in residential conveyancing. We offer a bespoke, fixed-fee service, ensuring transparency and proactive communication throughout the property transaction process. Their dedicated team is committed to providing reliable and trustworthy legal support, guiding clients every step of the way during what can be one of the most stressful times of their lives.

Your day-to-day role:

  • Handling sales, purchases, and remortgages efficiently.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Investigating titles, legal issues, and fraud risks.
  • Keeping clients, solicitors, and estate agents informed.
  • Overseeing secure fund transfers.
  • Submitting registrations and staying up to date with legal changes.
  • Managing stamp duty submissions and closing files.

What’s in it for you?

  • Genuine capped caseloads, manage no more than 60 files at a time.
  • Performance bonuses & work trips – Celebrate success with regular incentives and exciting company outings.
  • Perks that matter – Enjoy your birthday off, on us! Plus, they’ll cover the cost of your qualification journey (if not already qualified), helping you to achieve your career goals.
  • Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 access to professional support, including confidential counselling and expert advice for personal or work-related issues.

What they’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in Residential Conveyancing.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Capable of working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits:

  • Bereavement leave
  • Company events
  • Employee discount
  • Referral programme
  • Sick pay
  • Transport links
  • Performance bonus

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Experience:

  • Conveyancing: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • SRA / CLC / CILEX (preferred)
